This is Isabella's birthday cake. She is 8 year old and really wanted to learn how to use the potters wheel. I had the pleasure of teaching her and 9 of her energetic friends just that. We all had fun and got our hands filled with clay. What I loved the most about that day was this pottery wheel shaped cake. That was awesome!! I have to admit I didn't know what it was at first but when I realized it was a pottery wheel. I thought to myself how sweet is that! Her parent gave her the most thoughtful gift that I know she will remember.
What a gorgeous cake!!! I want to learn clay pottery....i dont know how but....someday!
